I offer guided support where you need it.
Design the support and curricular resources you need based on how your child learns and how you function as a family.
You share your child’s interests and the skills you feel they are developing at this time. I offer guidance and resources so you can create the learning routine that works for your family.

Through conversation, we review what you’d like learning to look like and explore how you can guide your child in age-appropriate ways. Then we create a plan with the services you need.
Services are provided in person or over zoom.
Discovery Sessions is one hour and are free. Other costs are determined through conversation with you.

A unique component of what I offer is support for YOU. I guide you in your experience of how to meet your child where they are. This gives you time to explore your child’s progress and determine what you need to build your child’s capacity for learning.
We become a team together, sharing in your child’s growth as they adapt and find their place in this world.
Some examples of what we address are how to build academic skills like reading and writing; how to build concentration/focus; how to handle transitions; peer or sibling relationships; and how to establish habits/routines.
Resources, tools, and strategies are provided as needed. We meet on the phone or through Zoom. We can also meet in person if you are scheduling 1:1 lessons or coming to the farm.
-
Lessons encourage practice/repetition of specific skills.
Sometimes it helps to see how to give a particular activity or lesson. I can model specific curricular lessons to you, or give the lesson to your child for you.
Lessons are determined based on specific skills you want to address and can be over Zoom or in person.

If you have a concern about how your child is doing academically, individualized evaluations that assess literacy and numeracy skills are provided. We then meet to discuss results and recommendations. You learn what skills you need to target with your child and how to monitor and track progress. You are also connected with other resources if more formal evaluation is necessary.
Cost: $150

There is an online library of resources to support learning at home. Materials for lessons are listed based on academic skill or curricular focus. Other materials are related to what we are currently exploring at the farm or studio. Book lists, videos, games, and activities are also provided to encourage exploration at home.
