Welcome to the Creative Seed Community! I am  delighted to have you join our mailing list and become a part of our growing community.   

To start, I thought it would be helpful to know how this community came to be.

During the pandemic, I left the classroom to guide a small group of families in a hybrid learning pod, called The Creative Seed :).   We met for a few hours each day together in a way that allowed for learning that was safe, meaningful and connected to how each family functioned.  

While I was the guide, each family was deeply involved in the learning process.  The children enjoyed activities with me, their parents, and each other.  Each child grew in their academic skills and developed a strong sense of independence, order, confidence, and wonder in the world around them.   We all grew in our awareness that what truly invited learning was not just what we did, but how we listened and responded to the moment at hand.  

For me, the experience tapped into a deep longing I have had to engage learning differently.   Through Creative Seed,  I realized how much we need new kinds of learning spaces, ones that nurture both the child and the family.   We need experiences that give us time to value beauty, wonder, and imagination, that remind us of all that life has to offer.   We also need to realize how much we need each other.  And we are called to do this not only for our children, but for ourselves. 

We continue to live in an unprecedented time, one that is asking us all to explore and get creative. My intention is to provide experiences that build a community willing to engage in that process together.   

My hope is the Creative Seed Community can provide us all with opportunities to re-imagine how we live, work, and grow.  My profound gratitude for joining me on this journey … I look forward to sharing in the unfolding together!
